adapted from trains planes and automobiles ( or something like that), this movie has multiple themes and deals with atheism, communism, and a lot more. a very well made film supposedly ghost directed by haasan.

the national award for best acting that year was given to vikram for pithamagan, but i feel it should have gone to kamal haasan for the physical changes he made to his body and the way he acted it out. the screenplay by kamal again, totally rocked
