Your not so random outburst is justified. Yes there are times when Kamal over does it, But there just too many times when he actually does it better than anyone else.
As far as Dasavatharam is concerned, It was made with one single intention - To get his market back to him and it did. Even otherwise could u not appreciate the difference in body language and voice modulation that he brought out in some of the roles??
There is nothing wrong in comparing 2 great actors like lal and kamal, atleast we have good food for thought unlike the senseless kamal rajini fights
Decent Start :)
Very thoughtful Idea.
With the international comparison on one side, it'd be great to see a detailed "Kamal/Lal - Compare/Contrast", from you or someone who has seen the best of both worlds. Give this idea a thought too and throw the invite (to Vikram I say :))
I am a great fan of ulaga nayagan but in no way can u say that naseeruddin shah is just a subset of kamal . both are brilliant actors and u cant compare them leave alone trying to say that one is better than other.
Dear Satyabrata
I have seen most of Shah's hindi parrallel cinema.. He is a mindblowing actor no doubt but doesnt have a hold over the genres of as many varieties as kamal does. Neither does he create so huge an impact in many other roles in his commercial career.. sarfarosh for eg,the goat killing scene could have been much better done..
