this happens to be the one of kamal haasan's first attempts at playback singing.He is known in the music industry for having a flair for singing at high pitch. its his close friend ilayaraja who encouraged him to sing some breath taking numbers.
apart from that, the film (inspired from a japaneese film called red roses) will be known purely for Kamal haasan's wonderful performance as a psycho serial rapist and serial killer. And also for his very attractive looks.
